Jess pops popcorn like I write blog posts.
Tonight I had the opportunity to watch Jess be totally frazzled. There were way to many around 16 party animals girls at Jess’ house for her daughter’s birthday party.
Have you ever been around that many girls at a birthday party? I know I have, and it makes you nuts. Anyways, most of the girls wanted to play with Jess’ dogs. They came upstairs a few zillion times. When Jess finally got them watching a movie they wanted popcorn. This is where the fun started. I swear these girls ate their body weight in popcorn. Jess made around 8 HUGE bowls of it. My favorite part was that Jess continually forgot to put the lid type thing back on the popcorn machine and popcorn started flying through her kitchen. After it happened FOUR TIMES I made sure she put it on. Trust me… watching her do it four times was totally worth the drive to her house.
I hope you get some de-stress time on Sunday Jess. Your weekend is way too packed.
Stumble it!

Poor Jess. Hosting parties is not her favorite thing to do anyway. Kudos to her for trying to make Jenna’s birthday memorable!
At least it was probably easy to clean up…especially with the dog vacuums!
two things:
1. i love that our blogher ad is for a world of warcraft free trial.
2. i LOVE hosting parties, nan, but for adults, not for kids.
dog vaccums RULE. they never need to be emptied or have a clean bag and they never clog up.
and, really? bridge is being nice. i left the top off at LEAST 7 times. maybe 8.
HA!!! Jess, it would have taken me at least 6 times and I promise you are a better person than I to have that many girls over at your house. I lack the capacity to register that many voices above a certain decibal.
Bridge you needed to document this for us all to see. It sounds like it would have been entertaining to see. There is always next time???
Microwave popcorn?
Something to consider.
That is so awesome. I would have paid to have seen that. Right on Jess. I bet the dog was really happy though and so were the girls.
omg i love our google ads. ha ha ha!!! popcorn machines, kids parties, dog supplies.
wish i coulda been there to see that! i would MUCH rather have popcorn popped in a machine or on the stove (remember those days) than in a bag in a microwave.
