oh hi! i didn’t know you were here.
that was me…yelling at my laptop today when i was lost in oklahoma city. i wasn’t really lost, i was just really hungry and i had strayed from the original planned route to find a morsel of nutrition. no biggie, right?
well apparently, it was a huge issue for ms. gates. that is what i named this lady who talks to me and tells me where to turn. i call her that because the software is microsoft streets and trips. this software saved my ace today…i never would have gotten where i was going without it. i plug a little GPS locater into the usb port on my laptop and type in the address. then i click a button, it figures out where i am, and then it tells me where to turn, how fast my car is going, and what direction i am headed. if you hit the road often, you need this software.
did i mention i have to agree NOT to sue microsoft every time i put in an address? yeah…there’s a little disclaimer i am supposed to read, acknowledging that messing around with the GPS while driving can be dangerous. i guess it’s unsafe to push buttons and use the touchpad mouse on your laptop while you are on your cell phone bitching to your boyfriend about being lost, singing “stupefy” by disturbed (raaawwk!) and smoking at the same time.
