    I think this recipe could be used as rocket fuel, there is enough alcohol in it to forsnicker a frat house. Although I must say it sounds delicious, I just don’t thinking walking would be in my future if I encountered this concoction.

    secret drinker,

    LOL…are you really a secret drinker? well…rest assured, this beverage should only be served where NO one will be driving anywhere. and…you CAN walk, especially if you steer clear of eating the fruit.

    let me know if you try this recipe. trust me, you will NOT be disappointed.

    I just found this blog today. The first thing I happen upon is a recipe for jungle juice. I’m tempted to make out with all of you. A little forward for first meeting? Perhaps. But honest? Uh, yeah.

    I think that I’ll pass one the booze but every thing else sounds great to me!

    Ohhhhh….that would do my body good tonight! I’ll try it!!!

    The dog is a mix of Great Dane and St. Bernard (that was the best educated guess)! We are not too sure! He was found roaming the pastures by my dad……

    My dad brought him home as a surprise. He didn’t think my mom would allow him to come indoors so he thought we could keep him outside until he found him a good home! My mom is like me and doesn’t like dogs being outdoors and away from the family so he settled in my bed that night! He was a beast and still in his puppy stage which meant puppy playing. Too bad he was so big his playfulness was very rough!

    Anyway, he is still a big baby (bigger actually) and is loved by all. He is my dad’s best friend and my mom’s biggest pain in the butt! But she loves him anyway!

    Hmmm….I bet you didn’t ask for the whole story! Sorry!

    Oh my God. Would it be tacky for me to make a huge batch of this in a garbage can (lined with a bag of course, I’m not that trashy) in my kitchen? No? That’s what I was hoping you’d say. Now I just need to find a ladle.

    Can’t wait till the weather warms up and then sip on 40 oz of that Love Juice. Reading the recipe makes me feel like I am sitting on a sandy beach under a palapa. And I am talking about the fine white sand that makes swooshy noices when you walk.

    Also, Love the fact that the fruit has antioxidant properties and nutrients to keep you drunk longer!!! Maybe ground beef can be added for protein :-}

    Thanks for recipe and the reflective moment.

    p.s. I have a wonderful invention that involves an ice luge and anatomical parts. I have pics if you’d like to see the samples.
