HA! The dollar is not as bad as it was…
I am so happy the dollar is not as bad as it was 6 months ago. When I started planning the trip to Europe the British Pound vs the U.S. dollar was bad. It was a 2.10 to 1 ratio. Well today it is a 1.78 to 1 ratio.
This just means I can spend less money for the same stuff in the UK. Or more beer for the same money if you are nuts and think like I do.
The Euro is the same way, just not as much of a difference. It used to be 1 Euro = 1.58 U.S. dollars. Now it is 1 Euro = 1.4593 U.S. dollars.
I am just happy. Keep going up dollar!!!

Yay for you, boo for me. Right now, anyway. I’ve still got $1000 CDN that I need to xfer and the drop from even to 0.92 over the last few weeks has been painful. But great when I use my stipend to pay off my credit cards in Canada. So it’s a wash, really.
