Disney World… I need advice on tickets.

Published by Bridge at 1:59 am under bridge

Does anyone know how to get great deals on tickets to Disney World? I really need some help.

Yes…

I am going. I guess my family is going as well. LOL.

I have to go to Floriday for work, and I just happened to have saved a bunch of skymiles so I am taking my family with me.

We have:

Plane tickets… check.
Car rental… check.
Hotel… check.
Tickets to local attractions… um no.

Anyone ever been? Know any pointers?

Stumble it!

Bridge, just one comment about Florida. They grow Key Limes there. They are yellow and not green when fully ripened. If you can I would recommend tasting Key Lime pie. Before you order any though ask your server if it is yellow or green. If it is green it is fake and to be avoided, probably made in China and shipped in by boat. If it is yellow then enjoy. Key Lime pie is a real treat.

there are no “deals” for disney world, bridge… they don’t have to offer sales to get people to go there and it’s a worldwide attraction.

with that said, i’m so jealous you are rolling to florida. meanwhile, i’ll be stuck here in frigid utah…and MOVING to boot.

WP… I will totally try it. I’ll be there for 10 days so I should have sufficient time to find some.

Jess… You got to go to North Dakota once so shove it. LOL. I am totally kidding.

    Oh that’s just GREAT.

I stopped by to return the Happy New Year wishes and now I’m leaving with the realization I love Key Lime Pie, but have never had any that was yellow, and therefore have probably never truly experienced Key Lime Pie.

    Putting it on the list…

    And Happy New Year Backatcha.

Bridge- I’ve been there several times and it’s pretty good times. The one suggestion that I have is don’t look at how much things cost if you truly want to have a good time. It’s expensive and that’s the bottom line.

The other recommendation that I have is to use the Fastpass. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do so. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/fastpass.htm
It allows you to schedule when you are going to go on rides and it is free of charge. It takes some planning, but is worth it. The last time I went, we spent the first hour getting our passes and then traveling around. The key can be getting a pass for times when other big things are going on in the park (like the light parade in the Magic Kingdom). If you try to schedule for regular times it can be hard to get a spot.

Also, if you can get to Sea World it is great. I love it there. Maybe that’s because I have a love for the oceans, hence going to school for Marine Biology, but I think that it is great for kids and parents both.

This site can save you a few bucks on tickets if you purchase in advance. I also like to purchase all tickets in advance, especially if you can print them at home, so you can go right to the admission gate.
