Another day
another mediocre, boring day of being self-sufficient. Riddle me this BatGirls and BatBoys, why doesn’t my cat ever take care of me? Seriously. I get up in the morning and the first thing he wants is food. To make matters worse, he acts like I don’t have to piss like a racehorse and gets upset if I attempt to relieve ye ole bladder before getting him his breakfast.
What kind of crap is that? This guy should be making me coffee and warming up the shower water for me for all the nice things I do for him. I let him play outside all day. I enable his uncontrollable eating. I move around him while sleeping so I don’t disturb him. I don’t put him in any sort of cage or board him in a place where they will.
NOOOOO. I’m way too nice for this guy. And what do I get in return? A little bit of attention here. A little bit of attention there. All on his time. What he wants, when he wants it. I even feel guilty about going out of town for the next month and having neighbors (whom he’s got convinced that he’s starving, for both food and attention) take care of him.
Can we say “Sucker?” Because that’s what I am. A sucker. He’s got me trained. And I take it.

Stumble it!

holy shit. i thought he was on a diet?
looks like it’s not working???
This is a must see…I’m guessing you might find this familiar.

“The Dave” and I can relate. Our Male cat is the epitome of “It’s all about me”. I especially love the look he gives me when I’m doing other important stuff (like making coffee to be able to function) in the morning instead of getting his breakfast. Oh, and then when he’s done letting us pet him, he bites us and runs off. We still love him. They have personalities ALL their own.
